Morenika Oyenike - Band Leader (Keyboardist)

We are thrilled to announce that Morenike Oyenike is stepping in as the new leader of the Naya Music all-female band! Not only is she an exceptional singer-songwriter, but she is also a brilliant music teacher and one of the most talented keyboardists around. With her wealth of experience leading various all-female bands and performing alongside Afrobeat artists such as Psquare, Tems, Dami Oniru, Clay, Yinka Davies, Muna, and Muma Gee, Morenike is poised to elevate the Naya Band to extraordinary new heights. We can't wait to see the magic she will bring as she leads us onto the global stage. Welcome aboard, Morenike—let’s create some unforgettable moments together at Naya Music!

Grachi - Bass

Grace Chioma Okara, popularly known as Grachi Lines, is a dynamic bass player celebrated for her distinctive tone, powerful grooves, and expressive melodic lines. With a deep love for Afrobeats and a strong foundation in traditional jazz, Grachi Lines brings a rich, genre-blending sound to every performance. In 2018, she enrolled at the SPAN Academy of Jazz and Contemporary Music, where she honed her skills in music theory, bass guitar, and jazz performance. Her journey into the public spotlight began in April 2019 when she made her debut appearance at the SPAN International Jazz Festival held at Freedom Park, Lagos. She graduated in 2020 and fully committed to pursuing her professional music career. Since then, Grachi Lines has performed with a diverse range of artists including Ayra Starr, Yinka Davies, Guchi, Goodgirlla, Teledalase, yesLiya, Zadok, and many more. She has also played with several notable bands such as Da Roses Band, Bandittude, Ayra Starr’s Band, and the renowned Coloz Band. Passionate about musical excellence and collaboration, Grachi Lines is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of bass playing while actively changing the narrative surrounding female musicians in Nigeria. Through her artistry, she continues to inspire, innovate, and elevate the sound of contemporary African music.

Zige - Drummer

Executive Director

Zige Tarilayefa Anthonia, known to many as Ziggy, and professionally as Tritomz, is a powerful drummer and percussionist whose presence behind the kit brings music vividly to life. Her professional percussion journey began in 2018 after training at the Peter King College of Music, where she developed the discipline, technical depth, and musical sensitivity that define her sound today. For Tritomz, the drums are the heartbeat of every song—and she approaches every performance with that belief, delivering energy, precision, and commanding presence. Comfortable navigating complex time signatures as well as raw, gritty grooves, Tritomz is all about keeping the music moving and the audience connected. She has performed with a wide range of gospel and secular artists, including Ayra Starr, Mercy Chinwo, Kefee, Crayon, Favour George, Goodgirlla, Teledalase, YesLiya, and many others. Her band experience includes performances with Ayra Starr’s band and the renowned Coloz Band.
